It’s Not Hard – It’s Your Stuff

It's Your Stuff

Being organized is something we all would like to do, but for many of us, it falls to the bottom of our lists of all the things we need to do.

Organizing your digital life and financial life seems like a daunting task. Many of us keep our insurance information and benefit plans in folders at work.  Our passwords and online account information are housed on our computers at home, or in our smart phones or tablets. Our banking and credit card information is kept online, and our mortgage information, car titles, and proof of ownership information are kept in a file drawer somewhere. Perhaps our safe deposit key is in our dresser drawer.

We know where to find this information when we need to (or at least where to possibly look for it), but what if someone else had to look for it? Say, if the unthinkable were to occur! Would he or she even know where to begin?  If your loved ones knew where to look, would they have enough information on how to access this information and settle your affairs?  Such as closing accounts, finding insurance policies, and, of course, securing Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and your other “ONLINE” identities.

A My Life & Wishes account easily helps you to organize all of your important information, keeping it stored securely, and allowing you to safely access it at any time.

And completing your site is easy!  It doesn’t need to be done all in one sitting. Complete one section (or sub-section) at a time. Or, designate blocks of time to work on your site. Another idea is to complete your basic information – the stuff you don’t have to look up.  Like where your information is located.  Come back and complete the policy or account numbers later.

However you choose to work on it, work at your own pace. It’s a marathon, not a sprint and you’ll be amazed at the things you discover that can be housed on your site! Before you know it, you will be organized.  And, in the event a loved one will need this information, it will be neatly organized for them.

A great working tool for you and a great gift to leave for your loved ones!
